Takehiko Kozue

Kozue started his career in 1984 as a travel agent in Japan to sell package tours. Advancing his career, he worked for N.S.I. Total Planning Co., LTD as a founding member where he experienced various roles such as sales, tour planning, tour conducting, Human Resources, Hawaii operations, and wholesale starting from an associate to management positions. In 1995 he established a tour agency that was affiliated with Japan Airlines and later with the Sheraton Group. Other unique experience was with Oriental Land, Japan (Tokyo Disney Land) where he had worked as a cast member for two years.

About his educational background, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from Waseda University, Japan. He started teaching at Trajal Hospitality and Tourism College and moved to Kyoei University in 2009 as a full-time tenure Associate Professor promoted to Professor in 2011. From 2013 he became a full-time tenure Professor at Meikai University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and became the department chair. To contribute to Hawaii and to become a tie between other countries, Kozue joins KCC from 2019 as a full-time instructor.
