Kevin's career began in 1976 as a busser at Hilo's Naniloa Surf Hotel and has worked extensively for The Royal Hawaiian Hotel Surf Room and Starwood Hotels primarily in Food & Beverage Management positions. He's also worked for Sodexo at the Queen's Medical Center again in various management roles. He is a graduate of the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa with a Bachelors's degree in Psychology and also holds a Master in Education from Argosy University Hawaii Campus. Kevin began teaching at KCC in 2002 teaching classes in Culinary Arts and Hospitality and Tourism. He presently is a full-time lecturer teaching the Hospitality Internship classes and the Food & Beverage Operations class and is a training consulate for the Queen's Medical Center as well as for Sodexo operations there.
